The support core is a 5-zone individually pocketed spring system in which each spring operates independently, allowing the mattress to respond distinctly to the shoulders, back, lumbar, hips and legs in turn.
The varying spring gauge across these five zones allows the mattress to yield softly at the shoulder and hip to relieve pressure on joints, while providing firmer engagement at the lumbar to maintain spinal alignment throughout the night. The independently wrapped design also delivers excellent motion isolation, minimising transfer between sleep partners so that movement on one side of the bed creates virtually no disturbance on the other. Resting above the spring core, a layer of Q-Cube Dynamic Latex provides an airy, buoyant comfort surface with inherent antibacterial and anti-mite properties, complemented by Sanitized Triple-Guard Foam that delivers 99% effectiveness against bacteria and dust mites for a healthier, cleaner sleeping environment across the full life of the mattress.
An Energex multi-layered protection system provides additional coverage for sensitive skin. A wave-shaped foam layer sits between the comfort and support zones to smooth pressure transitions and enhance the overall softness of the feel. The knitted fabric cover completes the Starrui with a breathable, skin-friendly finish. The mattress is available at a customisable height of 24 or 27 cm, and has been independently tested and certified by SGS for its three-proof sponge performance.
