Caring for Your Mattress.
A quality mattress is an investment in your sleep health. With the right care, a DeRUCCI mattress will maintain its support and comfort for its full intended lifespan, and beyond.
- Use a waterproof, breathable protector from day one
- Wash your protector monthly in cool water
- Replace the protector if it loses its waterproof barrier
- Choose a protector that doesn't restrict the mattress surface
- Rotate 180° every 3–6 months for even wear
- Do not flip. DeRUCCI mattresses are single-sided
- Mark the date on your calendar as a reminder
- Rotation is especially important in the first year
- Remove all bedding monthly and allow the surface to breathe
- Keep the bedroom well ventilated with fresh air daily
- Avoid placing the mattress directly on the floor
- Use a slatted base for optimal airflow beneath the mattress
- Act immediately: blot (never rub) liquid spills
- Use a mild detergent and cold, damp cloth for spot cleaning
- Never saturate the mattress with water or cleaning product
- Allow to dry completely before replacing bedding
Caring for Your AI Mattress.
The T11+ and T11 SE AI Mattresses contain sensitive sensor technology. In addition to standard mattress care, please observe the following guidelines to protect the electronic components.
The sensor array is moisture-sensitive. Never allow liquid to penetrate deep into the mattress layers. Always use a mattress protector and address spills immediately.
Keep the SleepCare app updated to ensure the latest sleep algorithms and firmware are running. Ensure your Bluetooth and Wi-Fi remain connected for continuous monitoring.
If you experience any sensor or connectivity issues, contact our service team rather than attempting to investigate the mattress components yourself. Warranty may be voided by unauthorised tampering.
Caring for Your Furniture.
- Vacuum upholstery weekly with a soft brush attachment
- Rotate and flip cushions regularly for even wear
- Blot liquid spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth
- Avoid direct prolonged sunlight to prevent fading
- Use a fabric protector spray on new upholstered pieces
- Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfibre cloth
- Wipe spills immediately to prevent water marks
- Avoid harsh chemical cleaners; use mild soapy water only
- Use coasters and placemats to protect surfaces
- Keep away from direct heat sources and air conditioning vents
- Wipe with a lightly damp cloth, then dry immediately
- Apply a leather conditioner every 6–12 months
- Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent cracking and fading
- Avoid sharp objects that may scratch or puncture the surface
- Never use alcohol-based cleaners
- Do not place excessive weight on the base frame when raised
- Keep the remote and controls away from moisture
- Wipe the base with a dry cloth; never spray liquid near the motor
- Ensure clearance around the base for full range of movement

Pillows & Accessories.
Your sleep accessories deserve the same care as your mattress. Follow the care label on each item, as instructions vary by fill material and fabric.
Air pillows outdoors monthly in indirect sunlight. Always use pillow protectors inside your pillowcases and wash them regularly.
Wash duvets seasonally in a large-capacity machine on a gentle, cool cycle. Tumble dry on low with wool dryer balls to restore loft.
Wash mattress and pillow protectors monthly in cool water on a gentle cycle. Check the waterproof barrier after each wash and replace if compromised.
