At the heart of the Holly is a high-density individually pocketed spring system containing approximately 768 springs across a standard 180 cm mattress, distributed across 32 rows at 2.0 mm wire gauge.

This spring count significantly exceeds the 400 to 600 springs found in standard pocket spring designs, resulting in a finer and more responsive support grid that maps precisely to the contours of the body from point to point. When sleeping on the side, the springs compress individually at the shoulder and hip to relieve pressure on joints without disturbing adjacent zones; when sleeping on the back, the dense spring field delivers firm upward support at the lumbar region to help the spine recover its natural curvature after a day of prolonged sitting or standing.
