Daniel Libeskind, Design Vision

Matteo Nunziati

Nunziati studied at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts, graduating in 1995. He founded Matteo Nunziati Studio in Milan in 2000 and has since built one of the most recognised practices in luxury hospitality, wellness and high-end residential design. He also teaches at the Domus Academy, one of Europe's most prestigious design institutions.

His practice has delivered extraordinary projects across the world. Clients include Aston Martin, Qatar Airways, Karl Lagerfeld Maison, Molteni&C, Poliform and Flou.

Daniel Libeskind

Daniel Libeskind is one of the most celebrated architects of the modern era, a former virtuoso pianist whose architectural education at the Cooper Union (1970) gave way to a practice that has shaped the memory, meaning and skyline of cities across the world. His approach treats buildings not as containers but as arguments, and that same conviction animates the furniture and objects he designs.

For DeRucci, Libeskind brings the same geometric intensity that defines his architecture to furniture form, bold without aggression, complex without confusion, always rooted in the experience of the person within the space.

Corrado Dotti

Corrado Dotti studied Industrial Design in Milan, graduating in 1995. He joined the studio of Matteo Thun as a senior designer from 1999 to 2003, before moving to the Armani Casa creative team, where he worked from 2002 to 2007. That formation, rigorous, exacting, and steeped in the highest standards of global design production, shapes everything he brings to DeRucci.

As Art Director of DeRUCCI Milano, Dotti created the founding collection of 15 beds presented at Salone del Mobile, the world's most important furniture fair. Every piece was made in Brianza, Lombardy. He also designed the DeRUCCI Milano showroom concept, a format now deployed in DeRUCCI flagship locations worldwide.
