Before You Submit
Please take a moment to prepare before submitting a warranty assessment request. A well-prepared submission helps us process your claim faster and avoids unnecessary delays.
- Read the full Warranty Information page to confirm your product category and warranty period before proceeding
- Confirm your product is still within its applicable warranty period from the date of purchase
- Gather your proof of purchase, this must be your original tax invoice or receipt from DeRUCCI Perth
- Take clear, well-lit photographs of the defect from multiple angles, minimum three photos are required to begin assessment
- Note when the defect first appeared and whether there were any circumstances that may have contributed to it
What is Covered
Our warranty covers defects that originate from the manufacturing process or from the materials used in construction. Coverage applies when the product has been used as intended and assembled correctly.
- Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship present at or arising from the point of manufacture
- Structural failures occurring under normal, intended use conditions
- Mechanical defects in adjustable components such as smart bed frames, electric adjustable bases, and motorised mechanisms
- Foam and spring core failures in mattresses beyond normal compression settling
- Refer to the Warranty Information page for full coverage details by product category and applicable warranty period
What is Not Covered
The following are excluded from warranty coverage. Claims submitted for excluded issues will not be approved and may incur an assessment fee.
- Normal wear and tear consistent with the age and use of the product
- Damage caused by improper or incomplete self-assembly by the customer
- Damage resulting from misuse, accidents, negligence, or use outside the product's intended purpose
- Stains, spills, odours, or surface scratches and scuffs
- Damage caused by the use of improper cleaning products or techniques
- Modifications, alterations, or repairs made to the product by anyone other than authorised DeRUCCI personnel
- Damage caused by exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, or sunlight
- Cosmetic variations that fall within normal manufacturing tolerances
How to Submit a Warranty Assessment
Follow the steps below to submit your assessment request. Incomplete submissions will be returned and may delay your outcome.
- Step 1 - Cease using the product immediately after a defect appears
- Step 2 - Notify DeRUCCI within 7 days after the defect appears
- Step 3 - Provide a copy of your original Sales Order or tax invoice as proof of purchase
- Step 4 - Lodge your claim by emailing enquiries@derucciperth.com.au or contacting our showroom directly with your order number, delivery date, and a clear description of the fault or defect
- Step 5 - Provide clear photographs of the defect from at least three different angles, along with a photo of the full product
The purchaser must bear the expense of making the claim and all related costs (freight, house calls, labour) at standard DeRUCCI rates unless otherwise required by law. If DeRUCCI determines a manufacturing defect exists, DeRUCCI will elect whether to repair or replace the product or part.
Assessment Timeline
We understand that a defective product is inconvenient and we aim to resolve all assessments as efficiently as possible.
- Initial acknowledgement of your submission: within 2 business days
- Full assessment and outcome decision: varies depending on the nature of the defect and whether an in-home inspection is required
- Resolution, repair or replacement: varies depending on the product, the nature of the defect, and current stock availability
- Complex cases or those requiring a physical inspection may take longer, you will be kept informed throughout the process
